The first quarter 7th graders have been hard at work learning their way around a sewing machine! They practiced on paper, sewed a throw pillow, and then learned to hand stitch the pillow closed!

The West Holt Kindergartens helped Johnny Appleseed celebrate his birthday on Thursday, September 26th. Several apple themed activities filled the room with fun and excitement.

The Varsity was first, JV 2nd with scores of 185 & 212. Individual top 10: Daleni & Brooklynn tied for 1st, Ansley 3rd, Hannah 5th , Brinley 6th, Madi 7th, Sadie 8th, Megan 10th.

The West Holt Cross Country Invitational will be held at the Atkinson-Stuart Country Club this Thursday, October 3rd. We would like to ask our local supporters to consider parking at Mill Race Park and entering the country club through the gate. We have 20 schools attending, and this would be really helpful. Congrats to the girls golf team on a 3rd at competitive Laurel tournament yesterday. Daleni Knust made the 18-Hole scoring record all hers by shooting 77 & placing 2nd! Sadie Keogh was 2nd on JV and Madisyn Hilkemeier won the JV division.
West Holt Ag students travelled to Imperial, NE this past week to compete at State Range Judging.
