
Mrs. Pistulka's 1st graders have been learning that people came to America from many lands.Our country is made up of many different cultures and customs.Everyone enjoyed playing "Elephant,Man,Ant", a game played by children in Indonesia that is similar to "Rock,Paper,Scissors".




Congratulations to the West Holt JH football team on their undefeated season! The boys did an awesome job!


8th Grade students will travel to NECC in Norfolk on Thursday October 24th. We will leave at 7 AM and return by approximately 3:30PM. Students will use results from a YouScience assessment to explore careers that might be a good fit for them.
They will tour the campus and eat lunch in the cafeteria. Please pay the office $5 prior to October 24th for lunch. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Ruppert.

5th grade students have been hard at work making connections between vocabulary words and real life experiences. Mr. Hendricks visited our reading class and taught us all about inventions and patents!





Algebra I students have been working on solving compound inequalities.




AAC Flag Football program for the 3/6th grade concludes on Tuesday October 8th with Tuesday night lights. 6-7 is skill testing and then flag games to follow from 7-8. Concessions will be available. Also special thanks to Brody, Jamison, Drake, Kruz, Marek and others.

This year the elementary started a Recycling Program. The elementary recycle paper and pop cans/bottles . Each week students collect the recycling from each classroom. Typically, we collect one large trash can. It is taken to a local recycling site. Keep up the good work!
