
Congrats to the girls golf team on a 3rd at competitive Laurel tournament yesterday. Daleni Knust made the 18-Hole scoring record all hers by shooting 77 & placing 2nd! Sadie Keogh was 2nd on JV and Madisyn Hilkemeier won the JV division.


West Holt Ag students travelled to Imperial, NE this past week to compete at State Range Judging.




Science classes are in full swing putting lab skills to good use! Science 8 recently completed the Rainbow Lab and a circuit building activity.




The First Graders have been working hard to learn their addition facts. Partner flashcards is one of the ways they have been practicing. They have also been working to increase their number of answers on a daily two minute timed test and on weekly practice with Mrs. Frickel.


The 2nd graders went to Chamberlain, SD to the Lakota Museum, The Lewis and Clark Visitors Center and to the statue Dignity! It was a terrific experience!



The 2nd graders learned about the Corps of Discovery on the Lewis and Clark Trail to prepare for their field trip to Chamberlain, SD this week! Many memories were made!

Congrats to Daleni Knust on shooting another 79 to win the Mateer Invite at Wayne today. She and Ansley Cadwallader (20th place medal) led the huskies to a 4th place out of 19 teams.

Hannah Hooey posted 100 for 5th, Sadie Keogh 101 for 6th, Ansley Cadwallader in 7th with a 102 & Brooklynn Butterfield shot 103 for 10th. Madisyn Hilkemeier won the JV division and Megan Fritz won the JV 3rd place medal.


Fifth grade students are working on multiplying multi-digit numbers and long division! They have been challenging themselves and Mrs. Miksch in a "99 Math" competition to practice multiplication facts. They are getting quicker every day!

The yearbook staff has been busy creating the fall sports collage posters and personalized locker posters. The booster club has banners printed of these to hang in the gym.

WH JHVB traveled to Ainsworth Saturday for a tournament. The B team went 1-2 and the A team went 2-1 and got 3rd place.



7th Graders just completed their unit on flight while testing rubber band planes, gliders, and paper airplanes. Construction class has walls up on a new concession stand and storage shed for the ball fields.






8th grade English students are working on comprehension by visualizing and sketching one of their relative's homes after reading the poem, "Translating Grandfather's House."
