As Veterans Day approaches, I feel so blessed to have heartfelt conversations with my K-6th graders about it's history and significance. They have been practicing diligently for our annual Veterans Day program and I truly cannot wait for our veterans and their families to hear them perform. God Bless America!

We will be having a slideshow honoring veterans during our Veteran Day Program. If you would like to have a picture of your veteran included, you can bring it to the school's office or send it to Mrs. Meyer (sanmeyer@westholt.org). Please include the veteran's name and branch of service. We will add them to the 200+ pictures we already have in our show.

The 2nd graders got a special treat today, a Husky Guest Reader! Our first reader was Kim Wettlauffer. She read a story about volleyball to get the students excited about chapter books! Kim also showed us her uniform and a high school volleyball! Thanks Kim! Good Luck!

There is construction happening in the street to the south of the school for the next few days. Traffic will still flow in both directions but we ask that students and families are patient and extra cautious during drop-off and pickup.
