Ava Hoffman and Emersyn Mlady took part in the Wayne State College Honor Choir Festival alongside 250 high school students! They spent all day working hard on the music and sounded absolutely amazing!

Hello Husky Fans, It is an exciting week here at West Holt. 1st the boys BB team will play the 3:30 game in the Semi Finals of the NVC BB tournament so be ready to get rowdy.
2nd Sub District Girls Wrestling is Here on Friday beginning at 1:00 and it would be awesome to pack the house for these young ladies trying to advance to the District finals, with that said ALL SPECTATORS will be required to sit in the stands on the EAST SIDE, the stage is OFF Limits and reserved for COACHES and PARTICIPANTS only and that includes behind the scorer's tables which we WILL have blocked off. NO sitting on the mats to take pictures, cheer and such so please be respectful of that. If you have any questions please talk to administration.
3. West Holt Speech meet is on Saturday these young people put in a lot of hours to prepare themselves for their season, so come on up and watch them perform.
Monday February 5th there will be a JV Boys game only starting at 6:00.

A number of students took a trip to the Omaha Symphony on Sunday. The symphony sounded amazing! Glad to have to have the opportunity to go!
The sixth graders hosted the January birthday assembly. Minute to win it and fun facts about 100 to celebrate the 100th day of school produced many laughs!
Reading, worksheets, and quizzes....in the art room?! Oh my!
Yes! Learning about different artists and art styles has had a big influence on students this year. Reading these magazines also helps students with their reading comprehension which is part of our HS school improvement goal!
Twenty speech teams competed in Ord Saturday. The varsity team was fourth in its division, and the novice team won the championship in its division!

Athletes not involved in a winter sport have the chance to get in some work 2-3 days a week. On Wednesday athletes did "wickets" and a photobomb from Zane 😂
