Today the NHS had a celebration for those who excelled academically last semester! Making superintendents honor roll is “No Piece of Cake!” And making honor roll makes you “One Smart Cookie!” Congrats to all who made those lists! Shout out to NHS members for putting this on for them and the Booster Club for helping fund the treats!!

Finals at Summerland
1st half

Mrs Pistulka's 1st graders always love playing an exciting game of spelling basketball to practice their words!

Husky fans have had a lot to cheer about this week, but don't worry...there is more to cheer for today! The speech team is hosting our home meet and the boys basketball team plays in the NVC championship at Summerland at 6:30 today.

From Coach Hale: Love to see you all at Summerland. 6:30 tip!

Mrs. Olson's first grade class had a great time on the 100th day of school! They participated in several activities and enjoyed a special 100th day snack. What fun!

Functional Skills celebrated 100 days of school by engineering a 100 cup wall. Working together, taking turns and using their math skills made this an exciting way to celebrate 100!

Technology allows students to model & observe what would otherwise be impossible to see! For instance, students in Science 8 use a simulation to investigate how invisible magnetic fields affect objects and systems.

Happy Groundhog's Day from the kindergartners!! "Predict" was our vocabulary word for the week. Students in Mrs. Hale's class were eager to make their predictions. (Some of us really like to play in the snow!)

West Holt will host their home speech meet tomorrow, February 3, 2024. Use the above QR codes and website to stay updated on the schematic and finalists. Better yet, stop by and watch some talented students! Rounds start at 8:00 AM. Good luck to the 18 teams participating!
