A Note from the Nurses... Did you know that toothbrushes can harbor bacteria? If you are noticing repeat illnesses in your student or yourself it’s time to switch out your toothbrush. Toothbrushes should be replaced every 3-4 months or sooner especially after an illness. Continuing to use a toothbrush after an illness can reintroduce bacteria into the mouth therefore causing you to get sick again. Toothbrushes can be disinfected by boiling the head for a few minutes or using a toothbrush sanitizer, also consider cleaning your toothbrush holder. Toothbrushes should be allowed to dry completely before being stored in an enclosed container.

The track apparel store for junior high and high school is up and running (pun intended). Orders are due by Friday, March 21 by midnight!

The meaning behind "Get home, son!":
Quincy Hall said he had one thing going through his mind as he pushed to finish and claim gold in the Olympic 400 meter race, “Get home, son!”
Hall said, “I’ve got determination. That’s what got me to that line. A lot of hurt, a lot of pain.”
We feel like this sentiment can be applied to every person on the team. It could be the 3200. It could be the 100. It could be your final throw, jump, or vault of the meet. It could be running your first hurdle race ever. It could simply be making it through a practice. It applies to your first season or the last meet of your career.
Simply put, “Finish.”
