The XC team competed at O'Neill in their toughest meet of the year so far. The HS GIRLS WERE MEET RUNNER-UP AS A TEAM! Drew Martin was 2nd in the Varsity boys race. Felycia Kerkman was 4th and Kearsten Keogh was 15th in the Varsity girls division. Jasiel Monasterio was 9th in the JH boys division.

West Holt students interested in learning about health care careers traveled to O’Neill Wednesday, September 18th. Students from the area gathered at Northeast Community College’s campus in O’Neill for an up-close and hands-on experience hosted by Avera, St. Anthony’s Hospital. The participants visited 13 different stations where they were able to simulate health care careers, hear more about possible career choices and ask questions from professionals about their respective careers. Some stations offered were: Nursing, Surgery, Physical/Occupational Therapy, Radiology, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Respiratory Therapy, Dietary and Support Services, SIM (Simulator) Truck, and Higher Education Representatives.
