Last week, our 5th graders reviewed how to distinguish facts from opinions to better understand persuasive articles. They practiced spotting statements that can be proven true versus those that reflect personal beliefs or feelings. They’re becoming sharper readers and thinkers every day!

Sophomores Kamrynn Slaymaker and Hannah Hooey just finished designing and hanging the Academic Recognition wall for the high school. These ladies also designed the first year of the display as freshmen and they are only getting better with experience!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year—homecoming week! My classroom has been full of characters lately: from butterflies to spies, refs to chefs, and everything in between. The Huskies have really shown their school spirit with some unforgettable costumes. But the biggest surprise so far? Watching my study hall transform into a full-blown salon to help Fiona get float-ready!

Homecoming schedule for Friday!
**Those attending Coronation, please note the time change this year.
**7-12th grade students are decorating homecoming floats for a parade. We encourage the public to join in the fun and watch! Please steer clear of the road between the highway and school as that is where the elementary students will be watching.
