Emersyn Mlady, a sophomore at West Holt High School, was selected by NSAA to sing the National Anthem for the 2025 State Bowling Championships on Monday, February 10th at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln, Nebraska. She got to sing twice, first for the girls’ state championship around 9:00am this morning, then for the boys’ championship around 1:30pm.
She was selected from a group of over 285 candidates who auditioned via a recorded format.

What a week it was for West Holt.
1. HS Girls Wrestling DISTRICT CHAMPS!!!! and 6 wrestlers going to State.
2. HS Boys BB the first ever GNAC Champions on an incredible game that took place on Saturday Night.
3. HS Girls BB- GNAC runner-up. Great job ladies
4. HS Speech- 3rd place at the West Holt Invite, keep woking hard and great things will happen.
Outstanding job to the coaches and participants as it shows what hard work can do.
We will finish off the month of February strong and look forward to all your successes.

Congratulations on making the GNAC basketball finals. West Holt fans will be on the scorers table side behind the benches. EV and Summerland fans will be on the opposite side of the scorers table. We ask that the West Holt student section stand behind their own teams bench on the far side of the court. (West side of gym). We also ask that Elkhorn Valley and Summerland student section is directly across from them on the far side of the court (west side of the gym).
