It's that time of the summer to start introducing our new teachers at West Holt!
Let's start by welcoming Mrs. Karen Barnes. Orginally from LaVista, Nebraska, Mrs. Barnes will be teaching 5-12 Band and Choir. When she's not teaching she likes to cook, crochet, Cricut, and spend time with her family. Her husband Eric works at Mitchell Equipment and they have 2 daughters: Elsie is 3.5 years old and Sadie is 7 months old! They live in O'Neill, where she taught K-6 Music at St. Mary's and 7-12 Choir at O'Neill High School for the last 7 years. Before that, she taught elementary music in Schuyler for 3 years. She is excited to be making the move to West Holt and looks forward to the beautiful music we're going to make!

The main drive to school will be under construction for several weeks. Please use caution when coming up to school. The gravel parking lot to the east of the drive is available to drive through to get to morning weights and the main office if needed.
