The West Holt Bands have been hard at work pulling together some songs for the Homecoming football game. This week, the JH Band played the Star Spangled Banner from beginning to end for the first time! They have come such a long way in a short time and I couldn't be more proud! The HS Band members are working on learning pep band music. We even have a high school student who switched from trumpet to clarinet to help build the woodwind section! They all are showing commitment and a fantastic work ethic to help rebuild the band.
The West Holt Choirs are preparing for upcoming concerts and auditions for Honor Choirs and All State Choir. We're finalizing a date & time for those concerts and will publish that information as soon as we have it. The choirs have been learning a wide variety of music and are excited to show them off in a few weeks.

I am a very fortunate music teacher here with the students of West Holt! -Mrs. Barnes

The VB games tomorrow at West Holt will be on the radio KNLV and KBRB will have the call. With this being a triangular, fans will be scattered, we will do our best to have our fans sit in their normal spot. Let's get ready to cheer with our first home VB game.

The 8th grade English class spent some time the first week of school discovering what their Enneagram number is and what it means. They took the Enneagram personality test and based on those results, they made graphics that described them. We talked about differences in personalities and interests and how being different from one another is what makes our world so great! But at the end of the day, no matter what your Enneagram number is, you belong here!
