Due to retirement - West Holt Public School is currently accepting applications for a Junior High or High School Math Teacher beginning in the 2026-27 school year.  Head Girls’ Wrestling and other varsity assistant and JH coaching positions available.  Appropriate endorsement or a provisional certification is expected. Middle level endorsements will be strongly considered as well.  The district will consider other applicants who hold a teaching certificate and are willing to work toward appropriate endorsement. Other sponsorship is also available with this position. 

Substitute teaching  and paid student teacher opportunities for the spring semester of 2026 are available.

Transportation Director/Activity Bus Driver/Custodian - FULL TIME

Due to retirement - West Holt is in search of a Custodian/Transportation Director.

Employment to begin in January 2026 or later. Applicants must either have, or be willing to obtain, a CDL with a School Bus (S) endorsement. This position is our main activity bus driving position as well as helping to manage the vehicle fleet for the school. It will also include custodial duties.

Interview and selection process will begin as soon as possible. Competitive wages and single health insurance premium paid for by the district. On the job training will be provided. This is a full-time, 12 month position.

Paraprofessionals - Elementary

West Holt is in search of paras for Elementary and Preschool!!

Employment to begin in ASAP. Applicants must have a high school diploma and meet one of the following criteria: 1) Associates Degree or higher, 2) completed 48 hours of college credits, or 3) be willing to obtain ESSA certification. Para duties are to assist in either the preschool or elementary classrooms with academics.
