West Holt All School Play to Perform "Black Hears and Bearded Ladies"
April 29, 2021
The West Holt All-School play cast would like to invite you to their performance of Ray Sheers’ play, “Black Hearts and Bearded Ladies”. Performances will be in the West Holt Lecture Hall on Fri, April 30th at 7 pm and Sun, May 2nd at 2 pm. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students in grades K-12, and free for preschool age and younger.
The play is set in the Sweetwater Inn, a rundown inn owned by Rupert and Minnie Floss who currently are on the government’s bad side. They must pay their tax bill of $32,000 in 60 days or risk eviction.
Perhaps Minnie’s Aunt Golda will float them a loan when she comes to visit. There also may be a secret or two lurking within the inn that could help them save their home.
The Four Bearded Ladies take up residence at the Sweetwater Inn. These criminals rob innocent bystanders and the cops are on the lookout for the four women.
Will the Bearded Ladies be stopped? Will Rupert and Minnie save their inn? How about Aunt Golda? Will marriage #6 be her lucky number.
Come see the West Holt High School students perform “Black Hearts and Bearded Ladies” by Ray Sheers to observe the chaos and find out!
