West Holt C/JV Volleyball vs O'Neill

The West Holt C and JV volleyball teams took on O’Neill Monday, October 7th in Atkinson beginning with the C game at 6 PM.
In the opening C game, it took West Holt three sets to beat O’Neill: 13-25, 25-20, 25-19. Scoring points for the Lady Huskies were: Katelyn Kratz with 10 points (5 ace serves), Abby Mathis with 6 points (3 ace serves), Hadleigh Stracke with 6 points (3 ace serves), Sidney Burkinshaw with 4 points (1 ace serve), Alexies Stracke with 2 points (1 ace serve) Malya Bussinger with 1 point, and Cadey Schaaf with 1 point
In the JV game that followed, the JV played well but were not able to hold off a strong O’Neill team losing in 2 sets: 15-25, 24-26.
Leading behind the serving line in the effort were: Courtney Kellner with 5 points (4 ace serves), Brittany Beckwith with 4 points (4 ace serves), Kelcie Osborne with 4 points (2 ace serves), Makinley Cadwallader with 2 points (1 ace serve) and Addie Karo with 2 points.
The C and JV teams will join the varsity taking on Boone Central/Newman Grove on Thursday, October 8th @ Albion. The “C” game begins at 5PM with JV and Varsity to follow.
